yesterday i was reading the papers. i think we can discuss this topic on a blog.
well rather intresting stuff. so maybe i can be like a 'GOOD' blogger for once.

yea so theres such a topic over the equality of men and women. by tradition,
women or rather FEMALE - DONT WORK
DONT GO TO SCHOOL
STAY AT HOME AND COOK
and TAKE CARE OF CHILDREN

basically they dont even have a choice of choosing a husband. in chinese even now we still speak of jia lao gong, but qu lao po. so now the problem is so many womens are with carreers and can live on their own. NOW, WOMEN DONT NEED MEN.

while. good for you if you are a female. ppl thinks that this is more fair. while, fair enough you females get wad you wan. for me, i think this is only fair too. however, this fairness post some problems to modern society. maybe after you read it you might tell yourself, well i think this world in not suppose to be fair after all.

firstly, mothers with carreers will have lest time for their family. traditionally women are suppose to be housewifes and take care of their children. now that they have careers, they have lesser time for their family and this results in a bad childhood for the little ones.

for me, both my parents are working and they had high paper qualifiations. they work for long hours specially my dad who always work un-paid OT. he usually works till 12 or 11 and occasionally till 3-4 am. but i have a good relationship with my parents as we have quality talking time. it can be over dinner or early in the morning. however, how many teenagers are doing this? how many teenagers will self initiate to talk with their parents? sometimes ur mum will tell me she does not have time but so do i. the difference is that you do not give up on having a good relationship.

secondly, women are now requesting guys to do more housework, be a nai ba bai fen bai (lol jk. i mean be a nanny dad) i dont mean that guys shld not. they definitely should and there are many already. this is because they love their wife and they just want things simple. (but got limitaion de hor lol).
but this is causing men to lose intrest to work towards having more responsibillity in their job ( I.E. means not intrested in higher rank job more) and this is not good either. according to Today, if i rmb correctly, the percentage dropped frm68% tono
i 52%.

last and the least, when females start being financially independant, they lose respect for man. so man kinda ' not so attractive' anymore. and males will also lose confidence. this results in low rate of marraiges

40% of singaporeans actually married to foreigners. men will go to vietnam or wad have you country to just find a wife to sheng er yu nu (means give birth). for ladies i not sure. maybe spg. i dont think this is a very healthy sign for us and for singapore as a whole.

yes so i agree with the write that apart from improvements to get women to be have careers and what boost the 'power/authority' of women, there should be something done to this problems too.

but i personally feel that if guys can give their wife a sense of secuirity that they will love them, take care of em forever and all that mushy stuff, the society wouldnt need to change from the start. so i think it might have been the guys fault at the start but GUYS, we can change this if you take good care of ur wifes and BE LEST FLIRT after u married. lol.
